Meaning of the Prayer Song:

 What can be done?! Oh Master, Who resides together in
the knots of my heart! I have been tied me to the enemies
who run in unrestrained way in rogue things!
What can a young calf do bound to the same yoke with a
bull that rushes forward arrogantly? Oh the destroyer of Kama!

 Notes:

1. svairiNa - unrestrained; viShama - unfair; darpa - arrogant;
naddhaH - bound; shrAmya - burdened; vatsa - calf
2. We do not need any enemies outside. Kama, Kroda etc
are enemies very much within us who give us the maximum pain.
They run unrestrained in all directions. Bound to them we get torn
in their powerful pulls.
 Let us eek the help of God to liberate us from these enemies!
3. c.f. ஆனை வெம்போரில் குறும் தூறு எனப் புலனால் அலைப்புண்டேன் - திருவாசகம்
