Meaning of the Prayer Hymn:
They see following the Dhyana and Yoga,
the One, Which is the inner Energy of the divines,
Which is hidden in our own qualities,
Which governs all the causes without exception
- like the time and the life etc.
Notes:
1. anugata - following; apashyan - having seen; nigUDham - hidden.
2. tE dhyAnayOgAnugatA apashyan
They see following the meditation and yoga.
The seeker of the Truth should persevere through contemplation.
With the blessings of God, the Supreme gets seen for such a seeker.
3. dEvAtmashaktiM svaguNairnigUDhAm
The Energy in the divines, that is hidden within ourselves.
The very same God energizes all the divines in their glorious
positions. That very same God is in us. Because of our own
qualities we do not see that God.
Shaiva Siddhanta calls this that hides the God in us,
as the veil of darkness.

4. yaH kAraNAni nikhilAni tAni
kAla atmayuktAni adhitiShThati EkaH
The previous hymn enlisted the various potential causes
like the time, nature, life etc and queried whether any
of them can be the Supreme and ruled out that possibility.
In this hymn, the upanishad guides that the Supreme governs
all those potential causes enlisted in the previous hymn.
The Supreme God is the essential due to Which all other
things function.
