स्तु॒हि श्रु॒तं ग॑र्त॒सदं॒ युवा॑नं मृ॒गं न भी॒ममु॑पह॒त्नुमु॒ग्रम् ।
मृ॒ळा ज॑रि॒त्रॆ रु॑द्र स्तवा॑नॊ॒न्यं तॆ॑ अ॒स्मन्निव॑पन्तु॒ सॆनाः॑ ॥ २.३३.११ ॥

stuhi shrutaM gartasadaM yuvAnaM mRugaM na bhImamupahatnumugram |
mRuLA jaritrE rudra stavAnOnyaM tE asmannivapantu sEnAH || 2.33.11 ||

Meaning of the Prayer Mantra:
Praise the Glorious, Seated on the chariot, Youthful, Powerful like lion,
Ferocious when hurting. Oh Lord Rudra, shower bliss on the invoker!
Destroy the army of the detractor!
Notes:
1. garta - seated on war-chariot; upahat - injure;
jaritRu - invoker; stava - eulogy; nivapantu - throw-down.
2. God is not just merciful. He is also highly powerful and
strong as well when a harsh treatment needs to be given as well.
