Meaning of the Prayer Song:

Who on the earth knows the forms of the Lord
that have come to bless but in disguise.

 Notes:

1. We know the forms of the Lord that are known to
bless us. However the forms of the God are not limited to these.
God indeed comes in many other forms which are forms in disguise
- not known to the world - that provide the blessings to the ripe seeker.

For example would be the form the Lord took as horseman
to enfold Manikkavasagar. Everyone looked at the horseman
as any other merchant, but Manikkavasagar recognized the God
in the disguise of that man. He sings this experience in the
complete Thiruppandi Padhikam
"குதிரையின் மேல் வந்து கூடிடுமேல் குடிகேடு கண்டீர்
மதுரையர் மன்னன் மறுபிறப்போட மறித்திடுமே"
