Meaning of the Prayer Hymn:

Those who discuss the Supreme (seekers) said -
What is the cause associated with the Brahman?
From where did we come?
By which do we live?
What are we rooted on?
What is operating on us?
Under whose governance we are subjected to joy and other conditions?

 Notes:

1. sukhEtarEShu - joy and sorrow

2. For getting into any of the philosophic scripture first there should be a quest.
The seeker having observed enough should ask the fundamental questions,
which is what is being presented here. If the question fame is well understood,
the scripture would show the path to the answer.
