Meaning of the Prayer Song:

 Hundred crore Brahmas died;
six crore Narayanas also the same;
Count the sand of the huge Ganga - those many Indras;
The only one Endless is the Ishwara!

 Notes:

1. God creates the positions of various divines.
God either functions in those aspects
and when a capable soul with the desire
for those function comes up gives that position to
that soul and acts through them.
The Vedas hail the Lord as the one acting through
all these divine positions - be it, agni, indra, brahma,
vishnu... - That is why the vedas often identify all
of them as a one entity. This is called Shambhu Paksha.
When the individual souls who have been given the
divine positions are addressed they cannot be equal
nor can they all be addressed as one,
nor can they be equated to the Supreme God.
They all act with the grace of God.
They are called the Anupaksha.
While there is a time span for all these souls
acting as the divines, God is the One beyond the time.

The essence in this song is not to equate Supreme
God Shiva with the divines who got those positions
through His Grace!
