Meaning of the Prayer Song:
For the wealth to be stolen,
did He sleep or left it?
Notes:
1. This song refutes the premise that some philosophers
have put forth. Their philosophy is:
"All that exists is only God and nothing else.
We are all indeed God. The God because of the Maya
became the lives. When the Maya is removed we realize that
we are God"
The flaw with this just mentioned philosophy is:
God is in the wealth of Bliss. We are not in the Bliss.
For God to become us, He has to lose the wealth.
For the wealth to be lost either the owner should have
slept off or ditched the wealth. God would do neither of it.
God is naturally Blissful.
So, the theory that we are God ourselves does not hold water.
God is very much in us. He is the One energizing us.
When we shift our attitude from the world to Him and
in that union when we lose our own identity, that is the
great Advaita state - where there is no conscience of anything else
including the self. All that remains is the enjoyment of the Bliss.
This is the liberation Shaiva Siddhanta affirms.
