Prayer of the Day
Prayer from Basavanna Vachana

Meaning of the Prayer Song:
For the lady who trusts, there is only one husband.
For the devotee who can trust, there is only one Divine!
No No, the affliation to other divines is inappropriate.
No No, the affiliation to further divines is inappropriate.
No No, thinking of other divines is promiscuousness!
Seeing, Kudalasangamadeva will nose-cut.
Notes:
1. holla - evil; hAdara - promiscuousness.
2. While a person new to spirituality could view different divines
and go behind, one with a mature devotion should realize the
One Supreme Lord and not dilute the focus and get confused.
This is what would ultimately lead one to shudda advaita moksha.
(The idea here should not be maligning other deities.
However, realizing the Supreme Shiva and seeing only
that God's grace flowing through many aspects. At this stage
the miniatures get lost into the Grand brilliance of Lord Shiva.)
