Meaning of the Prayer Mantra:
We praise the Divine that is triumphant and swift like the horse that is offered the curd!
May It give us glorious face! May It provide us the longevity!
Notes:
1. dadhikrA - divine horse; jiShNu - triumphant; vAjinaH - swift;
surabhi - fragrance; pratAriShat - give.
2. Curd is one of the key offerings at the Yagya.
Naturally, Shivalinga which represents the God like the fire in the
Yagya, is as well offered the panchagavya - cow milk, curd, ghee, urine and dung.
