Anyeshvaravada is Illogical Prayer from Shruti Sukti Mala of Haradattacharya

Prayer of the Day

Prayer in Sanskrit

विश्वं निरीश्वरमिदं जगदाह सान्ख्यॊ

(vishvaM nirIshvaram idaM jagat Aha sA~gkhyO
  yOgaH cha sEshvaram ubhau anuvAdinO anyE
natvEva saMbhavati sEshvaratAM bruvANaH
  padmAsanAdibhiH anIshvara shabda vAchyaiH ||)

Meaning of the Prayer Song:

 The Sankhyas say, "The world does not have an Ishvara (God)".
The Yogas say, "There is an Ishvara." Others follow either of these two.
There cannot be one who says, "There is Ishvara" and talks of other Ishvaras.
Because Brahma and others are not referred to by the word Ishvara.

 Notes:

1. Through the previous shlokas, Haradatta has declared that the
word Ishvara in Vedas refers to Lord Shiva.

So, when one says, "There is Ishvara. But that Ishvara is someone else"
is an illogical argument, as the Ishvara is Shiva.
