Meaning of the Prayer Hymn:
(The disciple) asked, "Sir, please tell the upanishad!"
For that (the disciple) was told, "It is the Upanishad of the Omnipresent
indeed, that was just said."
Notes:
1. brUhi - to tell; vAva - indeed.
2. The disciple, who was listening to the teacher the
spiritual teachingof the Upanishad, wanted to make sure
that he has got the complete Upanishad. So, he kindled the
teacher, "Please tell (continue) the upanishad".
The teacher indeed confirmed back to the disciple that
the Upanishad is complete - that deals with the Omnipresent God!!
