A few weeks back there was a bomb explosion in the Miinaakshi Sundhareeshwarar temple complex in Madurai. It was quite a disgraceful event. It seems that the aavudaiyaar of one of the Lingams has been damaged. Such barbaric acts should not only be condemned, but also the government should ensure that such acts do not take place in the future. It is the duty of the government to ensure that the culprits do not escape and they are punished properly.
