Why did He tell vedas?

Translation of song:

Though He told vEdas, He has not become a vedin; He told vedas to illustrate the Lord of vedas; He told vedas for the worship rites of vedins; He told vedas to show the True Thing! Notes: 1. God told the vedas. Did God also say the vedas like the vedins to worship the aspects of God? No there is no such need for God. Then why did God say it? It is for the benefit of the world to follow and reach God.
