Translation of song:

In the beginning, one from the four heads when said untellable, the Holy Feet (Lord) that chopped with the sword in hand; One Who would design and show the meritorious path to go for the world of shiva; One Who is partner of the Lady of great honor; The Refuge that is not seen by the brahma on the flower and viShNu; The Beloved; The Lord of thirunaLLARu - thinking Him, I, the slave, got uplifted this way. Notes: 1. Lord shiva sent bhairava and chopped off the fifth head of brahma, when he said improper things. That history is referred here by nAyanar. 2. mAthimai - honor; n^Athi - lord/refuge
