As the end, as the primal one, as the two - male & female, as the three characters (satva, rajas, tamo), as the four changeless vedas, as the five elements, as the six tastes, as the seven svaras, as the eight directions - One Who stood in union, in distinction and in togetherness - His place is thiruvIzimizalai. Notes: 1. A philosophically important hymn. 2. In the process of separating the filth in which the soul is in and giving it the eternal Bliss, God stays and blesses the soul in three different expositions - indistinguishably mixed, identifiable as another entity but still together, as a fully distinct entity.
