Meaning of Thevaram

One holding in long hands the (sharp) leaf like edge spear, Who burnt the three puras with the mount as the lethal bow; Partner of beautiful Lady; When the Rare Gem at thiruppirampuram surrounded by tidal waters is saluted, one can get eternal great wealth in this grand world.

பொருளுரை

மலையே வலிய வில்லாகக் கொண்டு திரிபுரங்களை எரித்த இலை போன்ற கூரிய சூலத்தைக் கொண்ட நீண்ட கைகளையுடையவன்; அழகிய பெண்ணை ஒரு கூறு உடையவன்; நீரலை சூழ்ந்த திருப்பிரமபுரத்து அருமணியை அடிபணிந்தால் நிலையான பெருஞ்செல்வத்தை இந்தப் பேருலகிலேயே பெறலாகும்.
