We can see the 64 ft high golden Dhwajam from anywhere. Siva gave the Linga to devoteeKhava and he asked Vyahrapada Maharishi to do the pratistha. Here the darshan is towards east. Kannimoola Ganapathy, Sthamba Ganapathy, Vyahrapada Maharishi are Upadevas.

The Ashtami in Vruschikam (Karthika) is celebrated here. On the last day of the Utsava, Subrahmanya will come from Udayanapuram.

Here Kodungalloor Bhagavathi’s sannidhanam is also there as once in 12 years, they conduct Vadakkumpurathu Pattu.
