Aluva - Mahadeva Temple

At this place, the periyar river breaks into 2 tributaries. Here, actually no temple is there. Only one Sivalingam. Sreekovil is also not there. from Makaram to Medam(Thai to chithira) Athazhapooja is there. Otherwise, only Neivedyam. Here, Neivedyam is offered in Arecanut leaves only. In rainly season, sometimes the Sivalingam could be flooded.
