Meaning of the Prayer Song:

The Thief, Who stole my heart, Who stood up beyond the reach of
the Vishnu who kept his forehead towards the Feet (of the Lord)
and the one on the cool lotus (Brahma), both of whom stretched
themselves, but hardly any they could see.
That Lord is the One, Who is residing in the Brahmapuram,
Whom the world starting with the women of bright forehead
regard in high esteem.

 Notes:

1. thAL- feet; nuthal - forehead; iRai - hardly any; nINuthal - stretching; vAL - bright.

2. தாணுதல்செய்திறை காணியமாலொடு
This is quite a loaded statement. One meaning is to say that both Brahma
and Vishnu hardly accomplished their objective to see the Lord's (Who appeared as a
column of fire) boundary.
The other excellence of meaning is to say that, Vishnu, by the virtue of
putting his forehead towards the feet of the Lord, had at least accomplished
something!

3. வாணுதல்செய்மக ளீர்முதலாகிய வையத்தவரேத்த
Sambandhar keeps the womenfolk in very great regard. In this
very first Padhikam itself, he is saying, "The world starting with
the ladies of brilliant forehead". Wow, how celebratable is womenhood!
